Deportes Telemundo presents Pachuca vs.Cruz Azul in Week 1 of the 2015 Liga MX Closing Tournament, live from Hidalgo Stadium today, Saturday, January 10 at 9PM/8C/6PT on Telemundo, DeportesTelemundo.com digital platforms and the Deportes Telemundo EN VIVO EXTRA app.

Deportes Telemundo's outstanding trio of sportscasters will cover the eagerly awaited game, allowing viewers to experience all of the excitement of Mexican soccer through the narration of the acclaimed Andrés Cantor and commentary by Sammy Sadovnik and three-time top Mexican scorer Carlos Hermosillo.

Pachuca has been training hard in the preseason, with two wins and only one loss. For this this new season lineup features three new players and the return of the Argentine-Croatian Darío Cvitanich, back from a stint in France with OGC Nice. The three new faces include two Mexicans - Heriberto Aguayo, of Mineros de Zacatecas, and Pumas de la UNAM forward Manuel Pérez - and Ecuador's Cristian Penilla, who joins the team from Barcelona Sporting Club de Guayaquil.

Cruz Azul comes into the Torneo Clausura 2015 fresh from the FIFA Club World Cup with only one preseason game. Luis Fernando Tena's squad is also fielding three new players - Colombia's Carlos Lizarazo, Brazil's Alemao, the Paraguayan star Roque Santa Cruz - and welcomes back Francisco Flores and Antonio Pedroza on defense and offense, respectively.

"It's always a pleasure to watch Pachuca vs. Cruz Azul, and I'm especially excited to take part in narrating this matchup at the start of a new season," noted Deportes Telemundo soccer analyst and commentator Carlos Hermosillo, who helped Cruz Azul to victory many times in the 1990s. "Pachuca played well at the end of last season and made it to the finals. We'll have to see what new plans and strategies Diego Alonso has in store for the club, which has some of the best reserves in Mexican soccer."
