Telemundo to Premiere New Variety Show DON FRANCISCO TE INVITA, 10/9

Mario Kreutzberger, better known as Don Francisco, returns to U.S. Hispanic television more energetic than ever and with his usual charisma on DON FRANCISCO TE INVITA (Don Francisco Invites You) premiering Sunday, October 9 at 10pm/9c on TELEMUNDO. The new Sunday night talk and variety show will take place at a modern and spectacular studio with four sets for a capacity of over 200 studio audience, where eminent world personalities, music stars, special and talented guests, comedians, as well as people with amazing stories will be featured. Don Francisco will have an enjoyable and vibrant conversation with his guests that could go from laughter to emotional, from surprises to music, or from a simple game to a major challenge.

"Don Francisco Te Invita" will feature its own band of six professional female musicians performing throughout the show and interacting with Don Francisco, in addition to performances with special musical guests. Additionally, the studio audience will actively participate in the show through an integrated digital system in their seats allowing them to vote and choose their favorite segments.

Mario Kreutzberger, better known as "Don Francisco," is an international media icon and the creator and host of "Sábado Gigante" (Giant Saturday), the longest running TV variety show in the world according to Guinness World Records, who has interviewed numerous world leaders during his more than 53-year long career. Born in Chile, Kreutzberger launched the show in 1962 on Chile's Canal 13, where it became an instant success that has lasted 53 years, broadcasting in over 42 countries throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe. Kreutzberger's impact has extended beyond the small screen, through his admirable contributions towards the welfare of children. Kreutzberger has received numerous industry recognitions from public and private institutions in the United States and Latin America. He has been inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame; honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; featured in the "Museum of Television and Radio" and received a special Emmy Award as "Leader of Spanish-Language Television."
