Telemundo announces the premiere of the first ever Spanish version of the Emmy-nominated, epic mini-series, THE BIBLE (La Biblia) tonight, March 25th at 8pm/7c. From Executive Producers Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and starring Diogo Morgado as Jesus, "The Bible" is a ground breaking scripted docudrama that retells the stories that we all know from the point of view of the heroes and villains whose decisions shaped both Old and New Testaments. Additionally, "A.D. THE BIBLE Continues", the highly anticipated sequel to the smash hit miniseries "The Bible", to premiere on NBC on April 5th at 8pm/7c.

Filmed on location in the Middle East and Morocco, the series features powerful performances from a stellar cast, exotic locations and dazzling visual effects that breathe new life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage, from Abraham to Moses, through Noah to David, following Jesus and the Apostles. "The Bible" (La Biblia) captures the struggles people faced during that period of time in a way a modern audience can relate to. Historic evidence will intertwine with dramatic re-enactments and jaw dropping CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery).

The star-studded cast is led by Diogo Morgado as Jesus, alongside Keith David, Robert Powell, Darwin Shaw, Sebastian Knapp, Adrian Schiller, Paul Brightwell, Greg Hicks, Amber Rose Revah, Roma Downey among others.

Since debuting in 2013, "The Bible" has been seen by more than 100 million people in its first-run airings and encore presentations and quickly became the biggest selling TV on DVD miniseries in the last 5 years and of all time on Blu-ray™, Digital HD™ and DVD in its first week of release.

"A.D. THE BIBLE Continues" picks up where the smash hit miniseries "The Bible" left off, continuing the greatest story ever told and exploring the exciting and inspiring events that followed the Crucifixion of Christ and the impact he left on his disciples, his mother, Mary, and key political and religious leaders of the era.
