Fans can also watch the game on their Apple and Android mobile devices via the new and improved "Deportes Telemundo en VIVO EXTRA" app, or online at deportestelemundo.com. A play-by-play account of the action will also be reported on Deportes Telemundo's Twitter account, @telemundosports.
Pachuca won its last game, an away match against Club León, with a final score of 2-1. With this result and seven games completed in the tournament, "Los Tuzos" are in fifth place with four wins, three losses and a total of 12 points. In the entire tournament, they have scored six goals and given up only two on their home turf. As further proof of the stellar performance of Enrique Meza's team, Mexico coach Miguel Herrera invited two Pachuca players - Rodolfo Pizarro and Miguel Herrera Equihua (no relation to the coach) - to join the national team's lineup in a match against Chile last Saturday, September 6, and Bolivia, last Tuesday 9th. Pachuca has never lost at home against Tijuana.
For its part, Tijuana has had one of its worst-ever seasons since joining the league: one win, four ties and two losses, giving it a total of just seven points. Following its last two ties, against the UNAM Pumas and Leones Negros (University of Guadalajara), the team replaced head coach César Farías with Daniel Guzmán. The encounter with Pachuca will be the team's first game with its new coach.
