Telemundo wraps up March as the only Spanish-language network with year-over-year growth during Monday-Friday 8-11pm, up 11% among adults 18-49 (880,000) and up 15% among adults 18-34 (415,000) season-to-date, according to Nielsen. The network's closest competitors continue to decline versus last season with Univision at -13% among adults 18-49 and -11% among adults 18-34, and UniMas at -13% among adults 18-49 and -28% among adults 18-34.
Telemundo's current Super Series™ "El Chema" ranked as the #1 program at 10pm regardless of language among adults 18-34, and #3 across all broadcast networks among adults 18-49 outperforming ABC. "El Chema" has been the #1 Spanish-language program at 10pm among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, beating
Univision every single week since its premiere on December 6, 2016.
Telemundo finished its best first quarter in network history, up 12% year-over-year among adults 18-49 (829,000) and up 6% year-over-year among total viewers (1.60 million).
