Telemundo continues to hold its lead as the #1 Spanish-language network during Monday-Friday 8-11pm among adults 18-49 (912,000) and 18-34 (435,000), according to Nielsen. As its competitors continue to report losses versus last season, Telemundo is the only major Spanish-language television network to exhibit year-over-year growth this season during Monday-Friday 8-11pm, up seven percent among adults 18-49, compared to Univision (-15%; 880,000) and UniMas (-18%; 251,000). In adults 18-34, Telemundo is up 11%, compared to Univision (-11%; 409,000) and UniMas (-32%; 97,000).
In addition, for two years,
Telemundo has consistently ranked as the #1 Spanish-language broadcast network at 10pm among adults 18-49 and 18-34, bolstered by the success of its Super Series™. For the month of January, the network's current Super Series "El Chema" averaged 2 million total viewers, 1.15 million adults 18-49, and 552,000 adults 18-34.
