Telemundo, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup RussiaTM, and Google today announced a partnership that will bring Telemundo's Spanish-language World Cup content to Google and Youtube for soccer fans across the U.S.
For the first time ever, World Cup fans searching on Google for their favorite teams, matches and scores in Spanish in the U.S. will see close to real-time video highlights from
Telemundo Deportes, the NBCUniversal
Telemundo Enterprises' sports division producing the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. This includes in-game clips featuring goals, halftime highlights and major moments in the match as well as match previews, winning probabilities, line-ups and news - all within Google Search.
This World Cup initiative expands on Telemundo's strategic presence and partnership with YouTube, which includes more than five official channels with more than 14 million subscribers, with three of those surpassing 3 million subscribers each.
Telemundo will upload more than 1,000 hours of exclusive content across digital platforms, including content on the official
Telemundo Youtube channel. Content will include videos from
Youtube Creators and fan reactions from across the world, further connecting and expanding the soccer community on one platform around the biggest global sporting event, the World Cup.
In addition, the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ games on
Telemundo will be offered in markets where
Youtube TV is available.
Youtube TV subscribers will also be able record and watch games via the
Youtube TV Cloud DVR feature.

Telemundo, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, will offer more than 1,500 hours of World Cup coverage from Russia with more than 500 hours on television, including the live broadcast of 56 matches on
Telemundo and eight on Universo, the live streaming of all 64 World Cup Russia games on TelemundoDeportes.com as well as via the
Telemundo Deportes En Vivo and
NBC Sports App.
Telemundo Deportes, one of the leading providers of sports content in Spanish in the United States, is home to two of the world's most popular sporting events: the FIFA World Cup™ through 2026 and the Summer Olympic Games through 2032.
