TELEMUNDO's Monday-Friday programming at 10pm ranked the network at number one in July among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34, regardless of language, according to Nielsen. The third season of the network's hit super series "El Señor de los Cielos," earned an average of 1.4 million 18-49 viewers and 679,000 adults 18-34 this month outperforming all Spanish-language and English-language broadcast networks in the coveted demo.
TELEMUNDO averaged 785,000 adults 18-49 in the Monday-Friday primetime in July, registering the smallest gap with
Univision in its history (238,000). In July 2013, the gap between
Telemundo and
Univision was nearly 1.2 million adults 18-49 in weekday primetime and in July 2014, it was further reduced to 680,000 adults 18-49.
During the week of July 20, 2015,
Telemundo beat
Univision three out of five nights during primetime among adults 18-49. The average gap between the networks was 40,000 in the day part and demo during that week, the smallest distance between the networks for any week ever in TELEMUNDO's history.
TELEMUNDO's news properties also delivered record performances this month, with "Un Nuevo Día" and "Noticiero Telemundo" delivering their best July ever. "Un Nuevo Día" garnered 306,000 total viewers and 136,000 adults 18-49, while "Noticiero Telemundo" brought in 926,000 total viewers and 362,000 adults 18-49. Additionally, the network's late night sports show, "Titulares y Mas," scored its best July ever, with 529,000 total viewers and 299,000 adults 18-49 at 11:35pm on weekdays.
