NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises announced Fabrizio Alcobe has been named Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Alcobe will be based in Miami and will report to Cesar Conde, Chairman, NBCUniversal International Group and NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises.
In this role, Alcobe will lead the organization to inspire collaboration and innovation within NBCUniversal
Telemundo Enterprises, one of the leading employers in Hispanic Media. He will also manage organizational change initiatives and partner with senior leaders to continue fostering an environment focused on innovation, flexibility and adaptability to inspire a creative culture and attract and retain top talent.
One of Alcobe's key priorities this year will be to bring the workforces of
Telemundo Network,
Telemundo Studios,
NBC Universo,
Telemundo Digital Media,
Telemundo International and NBCUniversal International into the recently announced state-of-the-art global headquarters, the largest multimedia production and broadcast facility in South Florida to date.
Most recently, Alcobe was senior vice president of Administration for
Univision Networks. In that capacity, he oversaw
HUMAN RESOURCES and administration, for
Univision and launched the network's award winning education week "¡Educate! Es el Momento" and TeletonUSA.
With more than two decades of global
HUMAN RESOURCES experience and organizational management, Alcobe is a veteran media executive with experience both in the Hispanic and general market having held key leadership roles in New York City at Interpublic Group (IPG), Havas, and WPP, among other companies.
At Interpublic Group, he was senior vice president of Global Compensation and helped manage the IPG's talent and personnel across IPG's agencies and brands. He also provided leadership in all matters related to global human resources, change management as well as played an active role in the company's diversity and inclusion efforts.
A native of Mexico, Alcobe is a Board Member of the prestigious USTA (United States Tennis Association) and the US Open. He received his Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Mexico's Universidad Iberoamericana and Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University.
