Telemundo Deportes, the Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, presents exclusive coverage of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men's youth soccer championship featuring 24 teams from around the world taking place in India October 6-28. Telemundo, Universo and the Telemundo Deportes EN VIVO app will broadcast all the matches live, presenting more than 110 hours of coverage across platforms. The 23-day event kicks off this Friday, October 6 with four matches including Colombia vs. Ghana at 7:30 a.m. ET, followed by India vs. USA at 10:30 a.m. ET, live on Universo.

Telemundo Deportes' Andrés Cantor, Manuel Sol, Carlos Hermosillo, Copan Alvarez, Sammy Sadovnik, Miguel Gurwitz and Frederik Oldenburg.
Telemundo Deportes' digital and social media platforms will also provide comprehensive content throughout the tournament.
The tournament will take place across six cities in India, marking the first time the country hosts a FIFA event. Among the 24 teams competing is Mexico, USA, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Germany, Spain and England. Defending champion Nigeria, the nation with the most U-17 World Cup titles having won five, failed to qualify to this year's tournament. Mexico has been crowned champion of the tournament in two occasions, introducing some of the biggest stars of the Mexico national team such as Gio Dos Santos and Carlos Vela.
