Telemundo Deportes takes the network's signature sports and entertainment show Titulares y Más on the road to present complete pre- and post-fight coverage and expert analysis of the much-anticipated sequel between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin in Las Vegas Sept. 15 across platforms.
Karim Mendiburu will host the leading late-night sports show from Las Vegas starting Wednesday, Sept. 12 alongside Abner Mares, three-division World Champion and former Olympian athlete, who recently joined Boxeo Telemundo's commentary team. Onsite coverage will include special reports throughout the week and exclusive one-on-one interviews with Canelo and GGG as well as other key boxing personalities onsite airing on the nightly editions of Titulares y Mas at 11:35 p.m. ET leading up to the main event, including the press conference and weigh in.
On Sept. 15, the comprehensive news and information programming around the main event will conclude with two special digital editions of Titulares y Más with analysis before the event at 9 p.m. ET and at 1 a.m. ET after the post-fight press conference on TelemundoDeportes.com, Telemundo Deportes En Vivo app and Telemundo Deportes Facebook page.
Telemundo Deportes has been reporting every step of the way leading up to the much-anticipated rematch delayed due to the suspension of Mexican boxing star Canelo. In an exclusive interview with Titulares y Más' Mediburu, GGG said Canelo is "the biggest SCANDAL in boxing" not the biggest name in boxing. But after a long negotiation, Canelo, 49-1-2 with 34 knockouts, will finally face GGG, 38-0-1 with 34 knockouts, for the WBA and WBC middleweight titles.
Titulares y Más is Telemundo Deportes' leading late-night sports entertainment show, offering the latest sports news and commentary, musical acts, combined with entertainment and lifestyle segments, featuring some of Hollywood's most recognized TV, music and movie stars, five nights a week.
