Telemundo, a leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in the U.S. and audiences around the world, announced its May NTI results today. Telemundo is reporting its third consecutive month of month-over-month growth in Monday through Sunday prime through the May broadcast period to-date among Adults 18-49. In the May broadcast month-to-date results, Telemundo delivered 641,000 viewers among Adults 18-49 and nearly 1.1 million total viewers (Persons 2+) in Monday through Sunday prime. The network has delivered 672,000 Adults 18-49 and more than 1.1 million total viewers (Persons 2+) in Monday through Friday prime, outperforming Telefutura in both key day parts.
Telemundo continues to garner strong ratings in the key female demographics in the May broadcast month. The network maintains significant leads over Telefutura among Women 18-49 (348,000) and 18-34 (191,000) in Monday through Friday prime with +25% and +22% advantages, respectively. In Monday through Sunday prime, the network averaged 306,000 viewers among Women 18-49, a +21% lead over Telefutura, and 171,000 viewers among Women 18-34, a +18% lead over Telefutura.
Through the May sweep period, Telemundo delivered 672,000 Adults 18-49 and 1.1 million total viewers in Monday through Friday prime. In Monday through Sunday prime, the network averaged 638,000 viewers among Adults 18-49 and over 1 million total viewers (Persons 2+), outperforming Telefutura during the critical May sweeps month.
Telemundo remains the #2 Spanish-language broadcast network this season during the 2009-2010 season in total viewers (Persons 2+), Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Women 18-49, Women 18-34, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 across all prime day parts. Original productions which aired during the 2009-2010 season include two that rank among the top 10 in Telemundo's history. "Donde Esta Elisa" is averaging close to 900,000 viewers among Adults 18-49 and more than 1.4 million total viewers (Persons 2+) premiere-to-date, and "Mas Sabe el Diablo" averaged 714,000 Adults 18-49 and nearly 1.2 million total viewers (Persons 2+).

Rumbo al Mundial: Mexico vs. England aired on May 24, 2010 and averaged 1.4 million total viewers (Persons 2+) and 957,000 Adults 18-49. Rumbo al Mundial matches that aired in May 2010-to-date have surpassed audience averages in the key demographics from May 2006, the last time Telemundo aired Mexican National Team games in the month of May. Total viewers (Persons 2+) are pacing +80% above the May 2006 average (2.1 million vs. 1.2 million), while Adults 18-49 (1.4 million vs. 827,000) and Men 18-49 (1 million vs. 586,000) are each up 74% compared to May 2006. Adults 18-34 (802,000 vs. 416,000) and Men 18-34 (565,000 vs. 293,000) have each nearly doubled their May 2006 deliveries.
The Billboard Latin Music Awards Presented by State Farm aired on April 29 and had one of the show's highest deliveries in its 12-year history on Telemundo among Adults 18-49, Women 18-49 and Men 18-49. The awards show drew over 5.3 million viewers (Persons 2+) and more than 3.2 million Adults 18-49 tuned in. The broadcast averaged 1,254,000 Households, a +10% over 2009 (1,141,000).
Telemundo's "Caso Cerrado," hosted by the popular and well respected Ana María Polo, has been nominated for a National Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Award in the category of Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program. The top rated courtroom show is the first-ever Spanish-language television network program to achieve this honor. The Daytime Creative Arts and Entertainment Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, June 25th at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles.
