Tegan and Sara to Perform 'Closer' on This Morning's TODAY

Tegan and Sara are set to perform "Closer" on the TODAY show this morning! Tune in to see them perform the hit single live during the 9AM hour.

"Closer," the first single off their seventh studio album, Heartthrob, is climbing towards the top 20 on the pop radio chart with purpose thanks to early love from stations like Z100/New York, who just recently added the song into the SUBPOWER rotation, along with major adds with KAMP/Los Angeles, WIHT/DC, WIOQ/Philly, KMVQ/SF, WBBM/Chicago, KBKS/Seattle, WKQI/Detroit and more putting the song on 162/172 Top 40 stations at present. It's a milestone for Tegan and Sara, who have never had a song chart at pop radio before.

The girls are just wrapping up a North American tour with Fun. and will be hitting a few additional US cities before taking off on a fall run in Europe.
