Taylor Swift Declined to Play Joni Mitchell in Biopic?

Taylor Swift has missed another chance to star in a film.

In 2012, the pop star was reportedly slated to portray Joni Mitchell in a biographical film based on Sheila Weller's book about Mitchell, Carly Simon, and Carole King, GIRLS LIKE US. But Mitchell told The Sunday Times that she "squelched" the film.

"I said to the producer, 'All you've got is a girl with high cheekbones,'" she said. "'It's just a lot of ­gossip, you don't have the great scenes.' There's a lot of nonsense about me in books: assumptions, assumptions, assum­p­tions."

Who do you think should play Mitchell, were the idea reconsidered?
