TWINSBURG Wins 'Best Film' at American Short Film Awards; Full List

The American Short Film Awards have announced the winning short films from 2016. The awards are given in 8 different categories, including Best Short Film, Best Short Documentary, Best Experimental Short Film.

The winner as the best short film of 2016 was the critically acclaimed "Twinsburg," Directed by Joe Garrity, the film follows a pair of twins at the largest gathering of twins in the world.

Other 2016 winners include "The Mother" as best drama short, "Enter The Cowboy" as the best experimental short, and "Vicious" as the best horror short.

The American Short Film Awards were founded in 2011 by short film festival programmers from around the United States, who aimed to bring attention and award the best short films of the year.
