Travel Channel is getting closer to naming the next "Travel Channel Star." The next round of the competition posts online today and pits each of the top five contestants in all-new videos produced by the network. The winner will be revealed in a one-hour special hosted by "Trip Flip" host Bert Kreischer, recapping audition videos and the judges critiques, on Monday, September 7 at 8:00pm ET/PT.
In each of the top five contestants' webisodes, they must showcase their personality, expertise and unique perspective while their travel specialty is put to the test. Fans can vote for their favorite video on the "Travel Channel Star" webpage or by using #travelchannelstar on Twitter until Friday, June 26. But, before a winner can be crowned, only two can advance to the final round. The pair will be revealed on TravelChannel.com on Monday, July 6, and fans can watch the final two complete an identical challenge and receive special advice from a surprise mentor on Monday, August 3.
