TOP CHEF MEXICO Brings Legendary Artist Frida Kahlo to Life, Today

NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos presents the eighth episode of TOP CHEF MEXICO tomorrow, April 7 at 9PM ET/8C. Tomorrow's episodes features a Quick-fire challenge with one of the most personal and unexpected twists in the season. With only seven chefs left, after Chef Christian Bravo's elimination last week, the competition is more intense than ever.

This week, the chefs walk in the footsteps of the great Mexican artists Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo as they take a visit to the Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo. Based on descriptions of colors that Frida Kahlo wrote, the chefs are tasked to create a traditional Mexican sauce, Mole, inspired by the color assigned to them. Special guest judge, Martha Chapa, recognized artist and mother of Judge Martha Ortiz, evaluates each Mole on not only taste but artistic presentation as well. In the end, one chef must go home as the competition nears its suspenseful ending.
