Bravo Media continues to be recognized for its quality, unscripted content as the network received five Primetime Emmy Nominations from the Academy of Television Arts & Science for the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. The network received four recognitions for its Emmy-Award winning series "Top Chef," earning its seventh consecutive nomination in the "Outstanding Reality Competition Program" category and two nominations for Bravo's first-ever fully integrated transmedia play "Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen."
Additionally, "Inside the Actors Studio," hosted by James Lipton, received a nomination in the new category of "Outstanding Informational Series/Special," making this the show's 16th
Primetime Emmy nomination.
Primetime Emmy Awards celebrate excellence in national prime time programming, awarding top honors at the annual creative arts gala and prime time awards telecast.
"We're really proud to be recognized with Emmy nominations across so many of the unscripted, reality and digital categories. It's a testament to the creativity of our internal team and producing partners in keeping our long-running series fresh, engaging and consistently high quality," said Frances Berwick, President of
Bravo and Style Media.
In 2010, Bravo's "Top Chef" became the first and only series on cable to win in the "Outstanding Reality Competition Program" category and this year's nomination extends Bravo's record as the only cable network with nominations in this category for nine consecutive years.
