"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has won the late-night ratings week of June 13-17 in total viewers, adults 25-54 and other key categories versus competition that included ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which was boosted by two nights of NBA FINALS overruns.
In total viewers, Fallon (3.243 million for the week) outdelivered Kimmel (2.673 million), who benefited from high-rated NBA FINALS overruns on Monday and Thursday nights, while in adults 18-49, Fallon (0.80 rating) virtually tied Kimmel (0.81). Note that Kimmel aired encores on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. At 12:35 a.m. ET last week, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" finished within 0.03 of a rating point of CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in adult 18-49 rating (with a 0.39 vs. a 0.42), despite airing an hour later. Meyers topped Colbert for the week among women 18-34 (0.25 vs. 0.24) and women 18-49 (0.45 vs. 0.44). Head to head versus CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden," Meyers prevailed for the week in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
