TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON has delivered a 0.63 rating in adults 18-49 and 2.569 million viewers overall for the late-night ratings week of June 5-9, to outrate CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in all key demographics - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 - and outdeliver ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in total viewers despite two nights of NBA boosts for "Kimmel."
According to "live plus same day" results from Nielsen Media Research, "Tonight's" 0.63 rating for the week in adults 18-49 tops "Colbert's" 0.48 by a +31% margin.
In total viewers, Fallon's 2.569 million beat "Kimmel's" 2.502 million, though "Kimmel" drew more than 3.5 million viewers following Wednesday's NBA game and more than 3.3 million following Friday's game. Note that "Kimmel" aired encores on Tuesday and Thursday and "Tonight's" Thursday telecast was retitled and excluded from the weeklong averages.
At 12:35 a.m. ET "Late Night With Seth Meyers" finished #1 in the timeslot in every key measure -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- versus CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden." In their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30 to 1 a.m. ET, "Late Night" also beat ABC's "Nightline" in every key category.
