Note that Monday and Tuesday telecasts were preempted or excluded from the weekly averages due to the New Year's holiday and that CBS's "Late Late Show" and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" were encores last week.
Season to date for the 2012-13 season, "Tonight" has stretched its leads versus one year ago over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" in viewers 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 plus total viewers. In viewers 18-49, "Tonight" has established a margin over "Late Show" of 14 percent (1.053 million vs. 920,000), eliminating last year's "Late Show" advantage of 1 percent. Jay has also generated a 25-54 advantage this season of 10 percent (1.339 million vs. 1.212 million), up from last year's 0.3 percent, has stretched his 18-34 lead to 19 percent (350,000 vs. 293,000), up from last year's 14 percent, and has increased his total-viewer margin to 14 percent (3.546 million vs. 3.106 million), up from last year's 13 percent.Videos
