TODAY Tops GMA in Key A25-54 and A18-49 Demos Again

TODAY is the number-one morning show, leading ABC's "Good Morning America" among the key A25-54 and A18-49 demos. TODAY has now topped GMA for 133 consecutive weeks in A25-54, it's best streak in six years, and has won its 152ndweek out of 153 in A18-49. Week-over-week, TODAY delivered the biggest growth across the board in total viewers and both key demos, and posted its widest A25-54 demo advantage over GMA in four weeks and "CBS This Morning" in six weeks. Compared to the same week last season, TODAY also improved its demo leads over both GMA and CBS.

Season to date, TODAY remains the top morning show among the key demos, leading GMA by 11% in A25-54 and 16% in A18-49. It has also improved its total viewers vs. GMA by 67% year-over-year.

TODAY averaged 847,000 A18-49 viewers, +88,000 (+12%) ahead of GMA and +345,000 (+69%) higher than CBS

• TODAY has been #1 among A18-49 viewers in 152 of the last 153 weeks
• TODAY delivered its best A18-49 audience in three weeks and highest advantages over the competition in four weeks
• Week-over-week, TODAY's A18-49 viewership posted the biggest gain (+5%, or +40,000)
• TODAY delivered a 0.66 A18-49 rating, +0.07 points more than GMA and +0.27 points better than CBS

TODAY averaged 3.622 million total viewers, leading CBS THIS MORNING by +805,000 (+29%) and trailing GMA by -173,000 (-5%)

• This was TODAY's best total viewer average in three weeks and largest advantage over CBS in seven weeks (since the week of 5/21/2018)
• TODAY's lead over CBS increased by 46% week-over-week and more than doubled versus the same week last season (up +129%)
• Among the morning shows, TODAY added the most total viewer week-over-week (+132,000, or +4%) and was the only broadcast to increase versus the same week last season (+27,000, or +1%)
