TNT has canceled its Jada Pinkett Smith-led drama "HawthoRNe" after three seasons.

"TNT truly appreciates the tremendous dedication of everyone involved in HawthoRNe," the network said in a statement. "The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show's talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with HawthoRNe nothing but the best."

The medical drama wrapped its most recent run last month, averaging 2.508 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49. Said numbers were down 18.8% and 22.2%, respectively, from its sophomore season (3.090 million, 0.9 adults 18-49 rating).

"HawthoRNe" was also the network's second least-watched show this summer, behind the recently axed "Men of a Certain Age":
