For a plus-size bride shopping for her big day, the pressure is at an all-time high, not only to find the dream dress, but the perfect fit too. On Friday, October 1 at 9pm ET/PT, TLC premieres the new six-part series SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BIG BLISS. Taped inside premier bridal salon Kleinfeld Bridal, each half-hour episode follows the emotional journey of plus-size brides as they shop to fulfill their dream dress fantasy.
From a plus-size bride who wants to look "trashy" on her wedding day, to one who gets her dream proposal as she says yes to her dress, SAY YES TO THE DRESS: BIG BLISS features brides who have struggled with weight issues their entire lives. But these sassy, confident and curvaceous brides-to-be will stop at nothing in order to find the perfect dress that will fit their personality and body type on their big day.
TLC has also announced that its hit series SAY YES TO THE DRESS taped inside the famed Kleinfeld bridal salon in New York will return for a sixth season in February 2011. The network has ordered 18 hour-long episodes.
