The impending birth of a baby is one of the most memorable moments in a family's life - a time of emotion and excitement, and of course... games and prizes? For the first time ever, TLC brings a game show to the most unexpected of places - directly to parents who are expecting. The OUTRAGEOUS new series LABOR GAMES takes viewers into the delivery room as women in labor are given the chance to win prizes for their baby-to-be. Hosted by Lisa Arch, the series will get a special sneak peek on May 6 at 10/9c, during the network's MOTHER OF ALL WEEKS.

It's a race against nature as Lisa and the LABOR GAMES camera crew surprise a new set of parents who are in labor, offering the opportunity to win a nursery full of prizes before the baby is born. If they agree to play, their normal delivery room immediately transforms into a game show set - flashing lights, game monitor, theme music, and all. But, the clock is ticking: the game could be a distraction from their contractions while they try to win trips, cash, baby monitors, food, clothing, and the grand prize - a $10,000 scholarship - before their ultimate prize, their newborn baby, arrives.

Filmed at the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, CA, the couples in the two sneak peek episodes are:

Jessica, 34, and Aaron, 36: together since 2005, this is their first baby. She's four days past her due date, and her doctors have induced her.

Marisa, 34, and Jerald, 34: together for 10 years and married for 9 months... this is a honeymoon baby.

TLC has ordered 12 half-hour episodes of LABOR GAMES, which is produced by Lighthearted Entertainment. The full series will debut later this year.
