TLC has renewed the hit series EXTREME COUPONING for a second season. To date, EXTREME COUPONING, which reveals the dramatic shopping skills of everyday people who clip and save their way to shocking savings - and massive stockpiles, has averaged a 1.4 HH rating and 1.9M P2+ viewers and has become a pop culture phenomenon.
"EXTREME COUPONING has struck a chord with our viewers and has sparked a passion in people who are looking for creative ways to save money," said Amy Winter, GM, TLC. "The series is creating even more super shoppers and we are lining our shelves with their remarkable stories."
TLC has ordered 12 episodes for the second season; production has already begun and is expected to premiere in September. The current season has two episodes left:
June 8
All-new episode premieres at 9:30pm ET/PT
"Joni & Angelique"
Ohio's Joni supports her family of nine along with her charities through couponing. She tries to get $3,100 worth of groceries for less than $100. In Washington state, Angelique stays up all night planning for her shopping trip.

Marathon of the series begins at 3:00pm ET/PT

"Scott & Jen"
Scott, from Long Island, NY, gears up for one last shopping trip before his wife Amy gives birth. Meanwhile, in Las Vegas, Jen uses couponing to home school her twin six-year-olds.
