TLC Brings Back A BABY STORY with Live Birth on Facebook

TLC reinvented A BABY STORY by bringing a live birth to Facebook in an unprecedented event early this morning with A BABY STORY LIVE. Going live at 4:21 a.m. ET, TLC captured mother, Rossio, as she progressed in labor before giving birth at home.

Broadcasting from the TLCme Facebook page, US viewers 18+ witnessed one hour and forty minutes of live labor captured on camera. At 5:39amET, her beautiful son was born with the help of her husband and midwife. The unbelievable and raw emotion was captured directly from their bedroom in Virginia giving the viewers an uncut, unedited, real-time view of this milestone moment.

The videos have garnered just under 50,000 views in 12 hours and are still growing. Viewers watching live commented by the hundreds with words of encouragement and well wishes for the family.

This story is just the first of A BABY STORY Live. Keep following TLCme on Facebook as they plan to capture another live birth in the coming days with Angela, who is due on June 27th. The 32-year old mom-to-be plans to give birth at a birthing center with her husband, a birthing assistant and her midwife.
