TLC Announces Chandra Levy Docu-Movie

TLC announced today that it has started production on a docu-movie following the murder of Capitol Hill intern Chandra Levy, the mysterious case that captivated the nation. Tentatively titled THE CHANDRA LEVY PROJECT (wt), the program is slated to air in May 2011, on the 10-year anniversary of Levy's disappearance.

Marking the first in a series of docu-movies on TLC, THE CHANDRA LEVY PROJECT (wt) weaves dramatizations with original on-camera interviews to recount the events surrounding Levy's sudden disappearance. Viewers will hear first hand accounts from those close to the tragic event, including Levy's Aunt Linda Zamsky, as well as Sari Horowitz and Scott Higham - the Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists at the Washington Post instrumental in reopening the case.

THE CHANDRA LEVY PROJECT (wt) is produced by Atlas Media Corp for TLC. Principal filming has begun in Washington, DC and will conclude in Los Angeles in early February.
