"Titulares y Más" is getting ready to welcome former NFL player Rolando Cantú on Monday, July 21 and Tuesday, July 22 at 11:35PM/10:35C. The former Arizona Cardinals offensive guard will appear as guest host of the successful sports program.
Cantú, a native of Monterrey, Mexico, began his career with the Borregos of Tecnológico de Monterrey, winning several Organización Estudiantil de Fútbol Americano (ONEFA) national championships with the team. He joined the Arizona Cardinals as part of the NFL's International Practice Squad program, becoming the first ONEFA player to sign with the NFL and the first Mexican Mexican linesman to in the league. He retired in 2005 in a game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Cantú returned to Arizona in 2008, this time as the team's International Business Manager, a position he shares with fellow Mexican NFL veteran Luis Zendejas.
Cantú's presence guarantees two unique and unforgettable editions of "Titulares y Más," which marked its 1000th episode this May with a two-week celebration in New York and Miami.
"Titulares y Más" has been one of Deportes Telemundo's most successful programs since its debut in 2005. In 2013, the show was expanded from two nights a week to five. "Titulares y Más" continues its tradition of featuring and interviewing leading figures in the world of sports, including soccer star Francisco Palencia, boxer Miguel Coto, actor and WWE headliner David Bautista; TV and film celebrities such as Aylín Mujica, Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Eric Estrada; musical stars such as Roberto Tapia; and leading comedians, including Gabriel Iglesias.
