THIS IS US Star Sterling K. Brown to Guest on BROOKLYN NINE-NINE

Variety reports that Sterling K. Brown will stop by for a guest appearance on FOX's hit comedy series BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. The THIS IS US star will take on the role of 'Philip Davidson', described as "a murder suspect who undergoes an all-night interrogation carried out by Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher). "

Brown took home Emmy Awards in both 2016 and 2017. The actor garnered a trophy for his portrayal of attorney Christopher Darden in the FX series "People v. OJ Simpson: AMERICAN CRIME Story." The following year, he earned an Emmy for his role of Randall Pearson in the NBC drama "This Is Us." This year, he received a Golden Globe nom for his performance.

Brown will next appear in the Marvel film "Black Panther" and Shane Black's "The Predator."
