THE VIEW Scores Big Ratings in Key Female Demo

ABC's "The View" averaged 2.830 million Total Viewers, 623,000 Women 25-54 and 448,000 Women 18-49 during the week of January 25, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 2nd-consecutive week, "The View" led CBS' "The Talk" (445,000) in Women 18-49. In fact, "The View" has beaten the CBS program in 3 of the past 4 weeks.

For the 2nd week in a row, "The View" saw gains over the previous week (611,000 and 425,000, respectively, w/o 1/18/16) in both Women 25-54 (+2%) and Women 18-49 (+5%). In fact, "The View" delivered its best Women 25-54 performance in 11 months - since w/o 2/23/15.

"The View" edged up year to year in Women 25-54 (623,000 vs. 622,000 for w/o 1/26/15). In contrast, "The Talk" was down year to year (645,000 vs. 678,000).

"The View" delivered its two top telecasts on Monday (1/25/16) and Tuesday (1/26/16) in Women 25-54 (714,000 and 701,000, respectively) since February (2/26/15) and Women 18-49 (519,000 and 503,000, respectively) since March (3/26/15).

Compared to its performance during the 2015 November Sweep (2.591 million, 526,000 and 388,000, respectively), "The View" out-delivered the month in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+239,000), Women 25-54 (+97,000) and Women 18-49 (+60,000).
