THE VIEW Outperforms THE TALK with Largest Lead in 6 Weeks

ABC's "The View" averaged 3.019 million Total Viewers, 622,000 Women 25-54 and 457,000 Women 18-49 during the week of January 26, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" outperformed CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers, increasing its margin of victory week to week by 62% (151,000 vs. 93,000 for w/o 1/19/15) with its largest overall viewer lead in 6 weeks (since w/o 12/15/14).

For the 2nd week in a row, "The View" was up over the previous week (2.881 million and 445,000, respectively, for w/o 1/19/15) in Total Viewers (+5%) and Women 18-49 (+3%). In fact, "The View" drew its largest overall audience in 7 weeks and strongest performance in Women 18-49 in 6 weeks - since w/o 12/8/14 and w/o 12/15/14, respectively.

Season to date, "The View" is outperforming CBS' "The Talk" in all key demos: Total Viewers (+238,000), Women 25-54 (+34,000) and Women 18-49 (+46,000). In fact, "The View" has increased its season lead over "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+7% - 238,000 vs. 223,000) compared to the same point last season.
