ABC's THE VIEW averaged 3.050 million Total Viewers, 548,000 Women 25-54 and 407,000 Women 18-49 during the week of November 21, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" led CBS' "The Talk" (2.765 million, 446,000 and 310,000, respectively) across the board: Total Viewers (+285,000), Women 25-54 (+102,000) and Women 18-49 (+97,000).
The View" saw week-to-week increases (2.943 million and 533,000, respectively, for w/o 11/14/16) in Total Viewers (+4%) and Women 25-54 (+3%), posting its 2nd-best performances of the season in both measures.
"The View" built on its Total Viewer count on the year-ago week by 16% (3.050 million vs. 2.619 million on w/o 11/23/15). In fact, "The View" delivered double-digit Total Viewer gains year to year in all 10 weeks of the season.
Season to date, "The View" is posting gains across the board compared to the same point last season: Total Viewers (+16% - 2.941 million vs. 2.536 million), Women 25-54 (+5% - 542,000 vs. 517,000) and Women 18-49 (+8% - 414,000 vs. 385,000).
In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+7% - 2.941 million vs. 2.760 million), Women 25-54 (+10% - 542,000 vs. 492,000) and Women 18-49 (+20% - 414,000 vs. 346,000).
NOTE: With Thanksgiving week, "The View" was coded as specials on Thursday and Friday, while "The Talk" did not air on Thursday for NFL or on Friday for college football. All specials are excluded from the weekly averages. ABC's and CBS' weekly averages are based on three days (Mon-Wed).
