Syfy's 16th annual The Twilight Zone New Year's marathon lured more than one million total viewers (1.02 million) into the 'fifth dimension of imagination,' up eight percent compared to last year's journey.

From 6AM-8PM on New Year's Day, the marathon of Rod Serling's iconic series averaged 1.16 million total viewers, up 17 percent versus January 1, 2010. During 8-11PM prime, viewership climbed to 1.54 million.

On Friday, December 31, The Twilight Zone trapped nearly one million total viewers (910,000) in that middle ground between science and superstition, peaking from 10-11PM at 1.2 million. That was up eight percent versus the comparable December 31, 2009 10-11PM time slot.
