"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has won the late-night ratings week of June 25-29versus its ABC and CBS timeslot competition in adults 18-49 as well adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and all key adult-female demographics, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.
"Tonight" won the 11:35 p.m. hour for the week over "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" by a +17% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 0.48 rating vs. a 0.41) and versus a week of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" encores by +37% (0.48 vs. 0.35). Note that "Late Show" excluded a Friday encore from its averages.
Last week at 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" topped an encore week of "The Late Late Show with James Corden" by +47% in adults 18-49 (0.28 vs. 0.19). For their head-to-head half-hour, "Late Night" beat ABC's "Nightline" in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key ratings measure, including a +23% margin in adults 18-49 (0.32 vs. 0.26 for that half-hour).
