Starting today the first season of E!'s hit series THE ROYALS from Lionsgate and Universal Cable Productions will be available for Prime members to stream or download at no additional charge to their membership. This comes a month ahead of The Royals' November 15 season two premiere on E!
The Royals is E!'s first original scripted drama series and depicts the lives of a fictional monarchy in modern times where power is everything, limits don't exist and trust is a luxury that even the royal family can't afford. Elizabeth Hurley (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) leads the stellar cast as Queen Helena, along with William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) as Prince Liam and Alexandra Park (Home and Away) as Princess Eleanor. The internationally acclaimed ensemble includes Jake Maskall (Coming to America), Tom Austen (Legendary), and Oliver Milburn (The Descent) with the legendary Dame Joan Collins (Dynasty) guest starring as the Grand Duchess of Oxford.
The series is co-produced by Lionsgate and Universal Cable Productions, executive produced, written and directed by Mark Schwahn (One Tree Hill) and executive produced by Brian Robbins (Varsity Blues, Smallville, One Tree Hill), Joe Davola (One Tree Hill, Smallville) and Shauna Phelan.
The Royals became an instant hit when it debuted on the
