Winners of the 30th American Society of Cinematographers Awards were announced yesterday in Los Angeles. The awards salute stellar work in theatrical features, television projects and student films, and also honor select cinematographers and other filmmakers for their career achievements.
The Revenant was the winner of the night's top prize. The win marks the third time that cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki won the prestigious honor, picking up the trophy for 2015's Birdman and 2014's Gravity.
