THE NFL ON CBS's coverage on Sunday, Dec. 20, highlighted by the national window (4:30 PM, ET) featuring Denver-Pittsburgh, earned the highest-rated NFL game of the day on any network, with an average overnight household rating/share of 15.9/29, +8% from last year's 14.7/27 (Indianapolis-Dallas, Buffalo-Oakland; 12/21/14) in the metered markets.
The other games featured in the window were Miami-San Diego and Cincinnati-San Francisco. The game rating/share peaked with an 18.2/31from 7:30-8:00 PM, ET.
The 2011 NFL season marks the 52nd year of National Football League broadcasts on the
CBS Television Network.
CBS Sports will broadcast 106 games during the 17 weeks of the regular season, as well as a full post-season slate including an AFC Wild Card Playoff game, two Divisional Playoff games, and the AFC Championship Game.
