Just in time for Valentine's Day, check out THE MORTIFIED GUIDE, a hilarious new six episode comedic docuseries that looks at the biggest issues of adolescence as adults share their childhood writings and art in front of total strangers. Based on the Mortified stage shows, books, podcast and film, this uniquely candid series celebrates the awkward insecurities that shaped us all.

Currently celebrating its 15th year, Mortified is a international storytelling project where adults share their adolescent writings and art... in front of total strangers. Hailed "a cultural phenomenon" by Newsweek, Mortified is the largest and longest-running project of its kind, with stage shows running in 20 cities worldwide in 5 languages, 3 TV series (including 2018's The Mortified Guide and an upcoming Dutch TV series), 3 books, a podcast with Radiotopia, a documentary (Mortified Nation), a national radio special from PRX, and creativity workshops. Mortified has been featured by This American Life, All Things Considered, Press Play, The Today Show, Entertainment Weekly, Wired, Time, Boston Globe, LA Weekly, The Guardian, LA Times Magazine, Time, and beyond. There are a million stories hidden inside the pages of the past-- Mortified is committed to helping people find them. Details getmortified.com.

Mike Mayer is the showrunner and director of the comedic documentary series The Mortified Guide. The series expands on his hit documentary Mortified Nation, hailed "funny, touching, and intensely relatable" by Wired and "profound" by The Washington Post. Mike's credits include Magnolia Pictures' Graduation, which he directed and co-wrote, a pilot for The History Channel, The Robber, and a digital short starring Rashida Jones for Flaunt Magazine.

David Nadelberg is writer, producer, interviewer, and public speaker. He is best known as creator of Mortified (getmortified.com), an international storytelling project that has appeared on This American Life, The Today Show, Entertainment Weekly, Newsweek, Boston Globe and beyond. Over the course of 15 years, Nadelberg's creation has grown from a single stage show to a project that encompasses TV, film, podcast, radio, books, speaking engagements, workshops and live events worldwide in five languages. His latest book is My Mortified Life.

THE MORTIFIED GUIDE recently debuted at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and premieres today, February 14, 2018, on Netflix..
