In the midst of a successful debut season that has received rave reviews, fan praise, and industry recognition, "The Joey Canyon Show," has been confirmed for renewal for a second season. The network has also approved the show to go to an hour long format, converting from the 30 minute slot it currently occupies. The show, hosted by award-winning country artist Joey Canyon, airs on RFD-TV Friday evenings at 10pm ET/9pm CT. Enter your zip code here to find where you can watch the show in your area.
"I was totally elated to learn that RFD-TV has cleared us to go from a half hour show to an hour show in our second season. This will enable us to bring our viewers even more traditional country music entertainment, special guest interviews, along with a great country lineup of stars for The Joey Canyon Show," said Joey Canyon.
Hosted by Denver's own Joey Canyon, the show aims to entertain fans in a location "where the music meets the mountains." As a traditional country artist, Canyon has made it his mission to showcase artists that he loves, while also showing off his homeland on a bigger, national scale.
The Denver Post took readers inside the studio for the final day of tapings for season one, which will air later this year. The show is also co-hosted in season one by country singer/songwriter
Dean Miller, who is the son of country chart-topper
Roger Miller. NASH Country Weekly featured Joey Canyon and the show in the April issue of the nationally renowned magazine.
