HAIR: Then and Now will play on Thirteen Friday, August 19th at 1:00 AM. A celebration of Hair, the "tribal love-rock musical" now a Tony Award-winning revival back on Broadway for the summer. Our guests include the show's composer Galt MacDermot and co-lyricist/librettist James Rado, who wrote the show's enduring rock score (with the late Gerome Ragni). Also on the program, actor Gavin Creel, who was nominated for a Tony for his portrayal of Claude, the role originally created in the Sixties by Rado. Creel, Rado and MacDermot perform the first act finale song "Where Do I Go?" with MacDermot's son, Vince, on the bongos.
