"The Battery's Down," the hit online television series, will return for a second season on Wednesday, April 1, on YouTube featuring a slew of Broadway guest stars. Filmed in a style similar to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "The Office," "The Battery's Down" chronicles The Life of young actor Jake Wilson in New York City. Each twenty-minute, two-part episode will premiere at 12:01AM the first of every month.
With a theme song composed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Edges, Johnny and the Sprites), each episode will be written by Wilson and will also feature a new song by a talented musical theatre writer or writing team, including Laurence O'Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy!), David Kirshenbaum (Vanities, Summer of '42), Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk (The Unauthorized Biography of Samantha Brown), Josh Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because), Michael Weiner and Alan Zachary (Secondhand Lions), and Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther (Alive at Ten).
The second season will be helmed by director/choreographer Connor Gallagher (Perez Hilton Saves The Universe).
Making return appearances as series regulars for the season are Tony Award winner John Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening, Rabbit Hole), Tyler Maynard (The Little Mermaid, Altar Boyz), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Mary Poppins, Spelling Bee), Cortney Wolfson (Legally Blonde, Les Miserables), Dani Spieler (Legally Blonde), Nina Sturtz, Ana Nogueira (Knives and Other Sharp Objects, Perez Hilton Saves The Universe) and more.

The Season Two premiere party will be held at legendary theatrical restaurant SARDI'S on Tuesday, March 31 at 9 pm. Fans of the show are invited to attend.
The Complete Season One Soundtrack will be available on iTunes April 7 which will be released by Ghostlight Records. The Season One soundtrack will also be available for purchase via their website at ghostlightrecords.com. The season one soundtrack includes the work of many up-and-coming musical theatre writers of today, including Pasek and Paul, Ryan Scott Oliver, and Lawrence O'Keefe.
