TEEN WOLF'S Cody Christian Cast In New CW Drama Pilot

Deadline is reporting that former star of MTV's teen drama, Teen Wolf, Cody Christian has been cast as a series regular in a new untitled drama inspired by the life of professional football player Spencer Paysinger.

According to Deadline, the pilot follows Spencer "a rising HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL player from South Central L.A. When he is recruited to play for Beverly Hills High, the wins, losses and struggles of two families from vastly different worlds - Compton and Beverly Hills - begin to collide."

According to the report, Christian will portray Asher, a privileged young football player from Beverly Hills High football team, who finds himself threatened by Spencer's arrival.

Christian is best known as Theo Raeken on MTV's Teen Wolf. He has also been seen in the FreeForm drama, Pretty Little Liars.

The pilot is written by April Blair and directed by Rob Hardy and is being produced by L.A. Galaxy soccer player Robbie Rogers.
