The Washington Post reports that the online video of Susan Boyle's performance in the UK reality show "Britain's Got Talent" has set the record for the number of views in a week, and it shows no sign of stopping any time soon!

According to Visible Measures reports The Post, which tracks videos from YouTube, MySpace and other video-sharing sites, Boyle's audition has generated 66.3 million views. On YouTube alone, it's been viewed some 30 million times. To read the full report on the amazing numbers click here.

There is also a wonderful article on the UK Times website on how Boyle is handling her sudden global success which you can read by going here.

It has also been revealed that Britain's Got Talent sensation Boyle has chosen the title song from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Whistle Down the Wind for her next performance on the program.

Boyle has won international stardom and world-wide affection for her earlier stunning performance of "I Dreamed A Dream" from Les Miserables.

Boyle, an unemployed woman who's "nearly 48," talked about her cat, and joked around with the judges, noting that she had "never been kissed." She revealed her dreams of being a singer and wished to follow the recording path of beloved British musical theater star Elaine Paige.

The entire audience prepared for the worst as she began her song, but, once she starting singing the crowd and judges were transported by her emotional and theatrical take on the number!

Britain's Got Talent press notes describe the show's concept as follows, "a nationwide talent contest where the winner gets to perform their act for Prince Charles at the prestigious Royal Variety Show, pick up a cheque for £100,000, and catapult themselves towards superstardom.

The turbulent trio of Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden once again preside over the judging panel. They may bicker, they may snigger... but their manicured hands are always wickedly poised by their buzzers to puncture long-held ambitions in a splice. Join in the fun at the audition stage, as we surf the talent spectrum all the way from the sublime to the seriously awful!

Each auditionee takes to the stage hoping that their act will be the one to delight. The judges hold precious hopes in their hands, but they gleefully shatter those dreams with just the buzz of a buzzer, as soon as the act fails to impress. If there are three dreaded buzzes the audition is over; but a few hold the panel's attention. If they last the full 3 minutes onstage, they could be in luck!

When the thousands of hopefuls have been whittled down to 40 favourites, we hit a week-long love-in of live semi-final shows. Here's where judge opinion and public vote collide in a five-day variety extravaganza, until just 10 acts, hand-picked by the public remaining for the grand finale.

There will be tears, there may be tantrums, but one thing's for certain... one talented act, who proves Britain's Got Talent, will be crowned the ultimate winner by series hosts Ant & Dec".
