Sunday's broadcast of Telemundo's La Voz Kids averaged 2,420,000 total viewers and 1,225,000 adults 18 to 49, up 17% and 18% respectively, vs. prior week, according to Nielsen. Hosted by TV personality Daisy Fuentes and entertainment host Jorge Bernal, and featuring expert celebrity music coaches Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce and Roberto Tapia, the singing competition continues to build viewership weekly, delivering a new high in its fifth week on the air vs. premiere, increasing 43% in total audience and 40% adults 18 to 49. La Voz Kids ranked #1 regardless of language in Miami and Houston among adults 18 to 49 and #2 regardless of language in New York and Chicago in the same demo.
A wide variety of young talented singers from across the country took the "La Voz Kids'" stage to display their best singing qualities in front of the demanding coaches across a variety of musical styles. Following the enormous success of NBC's "The Voice" in the U.S. and across international markets, the global hit competition features young kids between 7 and 14 years old competing through thrilling blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds and live shows.
