According to The Wrap Steven Spielberg is working on bringing his 2002 sci-fi film "Minority Report," which starred Tom Cruise, to television. The series will presumably follow the PreCrime Unit featured in the film. "Godzilla" writer Max Borenstein will reportedly pen the script, which will be produced by Amblin Television.
Despite the fact that Comedy Central's "Colbert Report" will be replaced by "The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore," when Stephen Colbert departs for "The Late Show" on CBS, Spielberg's project will reportedly keep the title, as it maintains a strong appeal in the science-fiction world.
