Stephen Lang and Jason O'Mara Set for Fox's TERRA NOVA

Stage and screen actors Stephen Lang and Jason O'Mara are set for Fox's upcoming drama series TERRA NOVA, according to published reports.

'Terra Nova,' an epic family adventure 85 million years in the making, is the new event drama slated for midseason from executive producers Steven Spielberg ('Jurassic Park,' 'The Pacific'), Peter Chernin, Brannon Braga ('24,' 'Star Trek: Enterprise') and David Fury ('24,' 'Lost'). The action-adventure series follows an ordinary family on an extraordinary journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a part of a massive expedition to save the human race.

Jason O'Mara's theatre credits include THE HOMECOMING, bash (Gate Theatre Dublin), THE JEW OF MALTA (Almeida Theatre - directed by Michael Grandage), SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL (RSC) and POPCORN (Apollo Theatre). Now based in the US, his television work includes the joint series lead in the US version of 'Life on Mars,' 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Trust Me,' 'Marlowe,' 'Men in Trees,' 'Criminal Minds,' 'Drift,' 'In Justice,' 'The Closer,' 'The Agency,' and 'Band of Brothers.'

Lang's many Broadway credits include WAIT UNTIL DARK, HAMLET, THE SPEED OF DARKNESS, A FEW GOOD MEN, DEATH OF A SALESMAN, and SAINT JOAN. His film credits include "Avatar" and "Public Enemies."
