Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) opens its 2018 schedule with its eighth trip to the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center at Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans, January 5-7, 2018. Stan Lee (Marvel Chairman Emeritus), Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Justice League), the "Firefly" twosome of Summer Glau ("Arrow") and Sean Maher ("The Playboy Club"), "The Walking Dead" tandem of Lennie James (Snatch) and Austin Amelio (Everybody Wants Some!!) and the "Gotham" duo of David Mazouz and Robin Lord Taylor headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the comic con and pop culture extravaganza.
Momoa, Glau, Maher, James and Amelio are scheduled to appear on Saturday and Sunday, January 6-7; Lee will attend on Saturday; Mazouz and Taylor will be on hand all three days.
Other notables scheduled to appear to date include "Supernatural" stars Kim Rhodes and Ruth Connell, Joe Flanigan ("Stargate: Atlantis," The Other Sister), Nichelle Nichols ("Star Trek"), Henry Winkler ("Happy Days," The Waterboy), Ray Park (Star Wars: Episode I, X-Men), Jason David Frank ("Mighty Morphin Power Rangers"), Rider Strong ("Boy Meets World," Cabin Fever), Grant O'Rourke ("Outlander"), Kevin Conroy ("Batman: The Animated Series," "Justice League"), Christy Carlson Romano ("Kim Possible"), Will Friedle ("Boy Meets World," "Kim Possible"), John Schneider ("The Dukes of Hazzard"), Charisma Carpenter ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel"), Holly Marie Combs ("Charmed," "Picket Fences"), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, The Benchwarmers), Joey Lauren Adams (Dazed and Confused, Mallrats) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie).
Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans will also feature non-stop live entertainment, gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, movie screenings hosted by stars and directors and more, hosted by media personality Kato Kaelin. Details to follow soon.

Wizard World Comic Con events bring together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. The first event scheduled on the 2018 Wizard World calendar, New Orleans show hours are Friday, January 5, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, January 6, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, January 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character - and some never before dreamed - will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume
CONTEST on Saturday evening.
