Sprout extended television's longest active growth streak of total day delivery among women 18-49 in October, marking two full years of monthly year-over-year gains according to Nielsen. In October, the 24-hour preschool network marked a 12 percent gain among women 18-49 compared to 2012. Additionally, Sprout original programming blocks The Sunny Side Up Show (21 percent) and The Good Night Show (14 percent) both reported double-digit delivery gains for kids 2-5 during October.

Among all kids' cable networks, Sprout averaged the highest total day composition of women 18-49 in 2013 to date at more than 22 percent. Sprout also scored the largest year-to-year percentage growth for the women 18-49 category - gaining 3.7 percentage points in 2013 compared to 2012.

"For Sprout to have two consecutive years of growth within the crucial mom demographic speaks to our commitment to quality programming and our continued network momentum," said Sandy Wax, President of Sprout. "These numbers indicate that our co-viewing approach resonates with our audience, which is essential to our success."

October saw a variety of new content across various platforms for Sprout. The U.S. premiere of Room on the Broom, a movie based on a popular children's book, aired on October 30, followed by the premiere of The Chica Show's Halloween episode on October 31. The Detective Chica and My Little Sproutlet games highlighted two new offerings on SproutOnline during the month.
