Springsteen et al to Be Featured on ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL Airing 6/24

Palladia announced today it will air the ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2012 and simulcast with VH1 Classic with limited, commercial interruption on Sunday, June 24th at 9 PM-12 AM/6 PM-9PM PT. This special, one-time-only event will celebrate one of the oldest, biggest and most legendary ongoing rock festivals in the world. Talent scheduled to appear include: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Pearl Jam, Jessie J, Elbow, Madness, Big Country, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, and Joan Armatrading.

Hosted by Jim Shearer, host of VH1's "Top 20 Video Countdown" and music correspondent for "VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live," the "Isle of Wight Festival 2012" promises to bring the pulse of rock n' roll into your home with this tour-de-force concert full of world-renowned talent.

"Ever since Palladia was born, the 'Isle of Wight Festival' has been one of our favorite annual events and we have been honored to present larger-than-life performances from some of the greatest artists ever," said Ben Zurier, EVP of Programming Strategy. "We are beyond excited that this year, for the first time, Palladia will be able to bring the event to our viewers in real time the same weekend as the Festival takes place featuring tremendous headliners Tom Petty, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and more."

The "Isle of Wight Festival" is one of the most unique concert events of its time. Beginning in the late 1960s and later revived in 2002, this annual music festival takes place on Isle of Wight, Great Britain. Some of the greatest musical acts of the past 50 years have graced the "Isle of Wight Festival" stage including: The Who, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, R.E.M., Jay-Z, Coldplay, P!nk, Counting Crows, Kings of Leon, Snow Patrol, Keane and more.
